Three Campuses One College

Padua College has played a vital and dynamic role in Catholic education since 1898 on the Mornington Peninsula. As of 2019, it will be structured into the following campuses:

  • Mornington Year 7-9 Campus and Mornington Year 10-12 Campus
  • Rosebud Year 7-9 Campus
  • Tyabb Year 7-9 Campus

This multi-campus structure provides our students with individual care and support, specifically within their smaller ‘House’ community, where each student is known by name. All of our students benefit from the extensive facilities of the larger College network.

The whole College comes together on various occasions throughout the year, including SIS Sport, Music, Rally Days, Padua Day and House Celebration Days.

Mornington Year 7-9 Campus

The Mornington site is situated on over 14.5 hectares (thirty six acres) in a peaceful, safe rural environment. The Year 7-9 Campus offers students from Years 7-9 a comprehensive range of subjects. The College prides itself on its ability to provide up-to-date facilities and resources in all curriculum areas.

Rosebud Year 7-9 Campus

The Rosebud Campus was opened in 1987 and provides a peaceful and tranquil environment in which to participate in the very best that education has to offer. The campus is designed on a homestead model which is a testimony to the relationship between architecture and the environment. There has been a particular effort to use indigenous plants in the College grounds, for which the College has won several significant awards. Our Rosebud Campus students move across to the Mornington Year 10-12 Campus for their senior studies.

Tyabb Year 7-9 Campus

The Tyabb Campus opened in January 2014, and draws upon students who live in the Western Port region. It is conveniently located on Frankston Flinders Road at the corner of Western Port Highway. Students at Tyabb Campus are offered the same opportunities as our Year 7-9 students at the Mornington and Rosebud Campuses. Our Tyabb Campus students also move across to the Mornington Year 10-12 Campus for their senior studies.

Mornington Year 10-12 Campus

As of 2019, our Year 10, 11 and 12 students will be located in the Senior Campus which is separate from the rest of the College. Senior students may choose to undertake various courses of study including Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses.

A new, state-of-the-art facility, the Senior Whyte Learning Centre, is being constructed for our Year 10-12 students.

Each student is allocated a Homeroom, where they meet for 15 minutes at the beginning of every day. In Homeroom the roll is taken, prayers are said and any notices are conveyed. For more information about our Pastoral Care and House System, please go to the “Padua Community” tab.
