Learning Enhancement

Learning Enhancement focuses on ensuring that Padua provides an inclusive learning program for all students. This includes students with disabilities, with learning difficulties and those requiring extension and enrichment.

Programs are aimed at promoting optimal participation in the mainstream curriculum for all students, and achievement of each individual’s potential. Support and resources are provided to students, teachers and families to identify student needs and develop appropriate accommodations and strategies to address these.

Learning Enhancement Programs include:

  • Reading and Maths Intervention Program at Year 7 and Year 8
  • Resiliency and Social Skills Programs 
  • Year 11 and 12 English and Maths tutorials
  • Inclusion of students with disabilities through Case Management and Personalised Learning Plans 
  • Homework Club

Enrichment opportunities include

  • University Enhancement Courses
  • Acceleration of individuals
  • Lateral extension and enrichment
  • A wide range of sporting, creative and cultural co-curricular activities
  • Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses
  • Subject-based competitions (e.g. Science, Talent Quest, Westpac Maths Competition)
