Sunday 10 November 2019

The Arthurs Seat Challenge is Sunday 10 November this year, and we have a fantastic group of staff and parents organising the Padua College BBQ at the top of the mountain. There are teachers organising a team of students and parents to run up to the top of Arthurs Seat. This is a fantastic and very worthwhile cause, raising money for educational programs about road safety in our schools, and Padua benefits enormously from it.

Please get behind our team! Join them! Cheer them on! Or just come and buy a bacon and egg roll!

If you would like to get involved through participation in the challenge or assistance on the BBQ, please send through your details to Jim Baird or Stephen Veneris and they will pass it on to the parents coordinating our activities.

Just a head’s up that the College is undertaking the customary collection in Term 4 for Christmas Hamper items for those in our school community who might be struggling for one reason or another at the end of the year. We ask that you support your child (Years 7-9) in bringing in the items requested for their homeroom collection. Students in Years 10-12 are asked to make a cash donation. This will be used to purchase items for the hampers in which we might be short, or for gift vouchers. Please ask your child what items they need to bring. We really appreciate your support in making this upcoming Christmas season a little more enjoyable for those doing it tough.
