Deputy Principal Report

Welcome back to Term 4

Welcome back to all our students for what promises to be a very exciting Term! Term 4 is always a busy time as we build up to the end of the year. Highlights of particular interest include, the Year 9 Focus Weeks, House Celebrations and of course our normal array of Academic, Sport, Arts and Drama as well as Outreach activities.

Year 9 Focus Weeks will take place later this term, please keep an eye out for further information from Mr De Fazio and the Aspire9 Team, the format for Term 4 is:

Think Global, Act Local and Camp (Australian and Mercy clusters)

Work Ready and City Experience (Modern Church and Franciscan clusters)

We are indeed fortunate to be able to offer our young people these magnificent opportunities and in anticipation I offer sincere thanks to all our teachers for their involvement especially those teachers who attend the overnight camps and give up precious time with their own families.

As we move through the next few weeks of term I would like to wish the Year 12 students all the very best as the VCE students complete exams and the VCAL students finish off final assessment tasks. I also remind students in the 7-9 Campus that while the Year 12 students may be finishing formal lessons, the students in the 7-9 Campus still have much to achieve, both in 2019 but also in the years ahead at Padua. So please keep in mind these end of year celebrations are for our Year 12 students only.

Good luck to all for the final term of 2019, wishing you all continued blessings.
