Director of Campus Report

A group of seven students from the Tyabb Campus travelled to Broadbeach, Queensland over the weekend to represent Padua College in the National Schoolaerobics Championships, the largest inter-school Sportaerobic competition for primary and secondary school students throughout Australia. Our students have been training hard all year before school and during lunchtimes.  The students performed a great routine and were able to display what they had been working hard on all year to come away as the WINNERS in the Secondary Stage One Classic Division.

A Big Congratulations to Emmylou Shannon, Olivia Laity, Zoe Warmbrunn, Abbie Newman, Hannah Fletcher, Lily Taylor and Layla Romari. These girls were a pleasure to coach all year and are a great example of the wonderful students we have here at Padua College. Well done girls!!!!

I also would like to thank Dobsons for supplying the aerobics team with blue polo tops for them to wear in Queensland.

As part of Book Week we held a Uno competition on Wednesday. Many students and staff battled it out for a range of prizes. While no one was announced as the ultimate winner it is fair to say that Uno was the big winner on the day. Thank you to Kellie Spicer for organising the competition.
