Year 7 Music Information Evenings

LEARN AN INSTRUMENT FOR FREE

Over the next couple of weeks we are holding our year 7 Music Information Evenings.

These will take place on each campus.

Year 7 parents and students are invited to come along. You will have a chance to learn about the Year 7 Music Program, meet the music staff, hear some students play and most importantly Year 7 students will have an opportunity to try out different instruments to see which one they would like to learn.

REMEMBER WE OFFER FREE LESSONS ON CONCERT BAND AND SELECTED STRING INSTRUMETS TO ALL YEAR 7 STUDENTS.

At the end of the evening students can sign up for the Program and choose their instrument.

As is our tradition there will be a short musical based skit featuring the totally un-theatrical music staff as actors. This year it will be:

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK BASSOON featuring Captain Trombosa and Jack Piano (Mornington Campus only sorry!)

The dates are:

MORNINGTON CAMPUS: Thursday 14 March  7.00pm (after the twilight open evening) UFC

TYABB CAMPUS: Thursday 7 March - 7.00pm (after the twilight open evening) Music Department

ROSEBUD CAMPUS: Tuesday 12 March - 7.00pm Mercy Room

Come along!
