Faith News

A warm welcome back to all members of the college community from the Padua College Faith Team.

We have had a few personnel changes this year so it is an opportune time to introduce the members of the faith Team to you.

Ciara Roberts, Religious Education Learning Area Leader

Peter O’Halloran, Campus Faith Coordinator Rosebud

Anne-Marie Wilkinson, Campus Faith Coordinator Tyabb

Peter Woodhouse, Campus Faith Coordinator Mornington

Samantha Vinson, Social Justice Coordinator

Mo Cromar, Pastoral Associate

Ange Virgona, Faith Formation Leader

This wonderful group of staff work with myself as Vice Principal: Mission & Community, and with Anthony Banks as College Principal, to develop and facilitate the R.E. courses, Social Justice activities, prayer and liturgy, retreats and reflections days and all the other components of our R.E. and Faith programs. I thank them all for what they contribute to our college community.

College Opening Assembly

I am writing this having just celebrated our College Assembly where we welcome our new Yr 7 students and recognise the achievements of our Senior students from last year. The assembly began with  liturgy prepared by Peter Woodhouse and assisted by Ange Virgona. New members of the Faith & Life Yr 12 RE class played a significant role in the prayers and actions. Please see some pictures attached.

College Opening Mass

The College Opening Mass is on next Thursday 21 February 7.30pm at the Mornington Campus. This is always a great occasion as we welcome our new Year 7 students and families, and witness our college student leaders give their pledge.

All Year 7 students and other students new to the college, as well as all student leaders in any capacity, are required to attend the mass. All other students and families are warmly invited to attend.
