Directors of Tyabb Campus Report

This year at Padua College the focus is on Hope. We have been hopeful for a smooth start to the year for our new students, particularly our Year 7 students, as they made the transition from primary school.

We take this opportunity to welcome our new families to the Padua College Tyabb Campus. We have been very impressed with the way that our new students have settled in and have begun to adapt to secondary school life.

Students have begun the year by wearing their uniform with pride and we commend them on this. We remind parents to ensure that all uniform items have been named as we often have a number of items in lost property that are not labelled.

Term 1 is often a busy term in secondary schools and there are a number of events happening . We’ve met with our Year 7 students and begun the discussion about the camp. The Year 9 students received some information about the Aspire9 program we had a fantastic launch of this program last Friday at Arthurs Seat State Park. The Year 7 and 8 students have also participated in a safer bus travel information session.

We’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate Chelsea Holmes, husband Mark and son Atticus on the safe arrival of their new daughter and sister, Xanthe.
