Parent News

Once again this year we had a marvellous response from our school community. Please see the full report in the Padua News and Events page of this Paduan.

Specifically from our Parent Group perspective, thankyou so much to all the parents who were able to help with the BBQ brunch at the top of the hill. Many hands made the cooking and serving so much easier.

And special thanks and recognition needs to go to our parent organising extraordinaire, Liz Murgia. Liz has been the inspiration behind the BBQ and the funds that are raised to contribute to the day. Liz’s twin girls are in Year 12 this year and so she will no longer be a parent of Padua College next year, but knowing Liz, I’m sure she will be in amongst it again with her trademark energy and commitment to the cause. Great thanks for all your work, Liz.

There will be an evening reflection in the St Francis of Assisi Chapel at the Mornington Campus on Tuesday 28 November, 7.00-7.30pm.

The focus will be on our wellbeing as parents, but within the context of Advent, as we reflect on the year.

There is no need to RSVP for this event. For those who wish to stay on the for the final Parent Group meeting at 7.30, you are most welcome, but this is not necessary!

The last Parent group for the year will meet on 28 November 7.30pm (Mornington Campus – Staff Room). This meeting will review the year and set objectives for next year.

If you would like to email me with any thoughts, questions or suggestions, please feel free to do so. I’d love to hear from you
