Sydney Sights

With 44 students on board we headed up the Hume. Fourteen long hours later we arrived at our destination of YHA at The Rocks, with its million dollar roof-top views across the harbour, Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

Such a busy week with visits to the Opera House, Taronga Park Zoo, Paddy's Market, Bridge Pylon climb, Madame Tussauds and the Museum.  The students also enjoyed the quieter moments, meandering around Manly, ferry rides and a harbour cruise with some chill time at Bondi.

The final night culminated in a ghost tour of the historic Rocks area. Amid the screaming, laughter and much hugging as scary tales were told, the students cemented firm friendships with those from other campuses. The friendships formed will become most important aspect of the camp, when they eventually come together at the Senior Campus in Year 11.

A fabulous week with responsible, polite and fun young people that make up our Padua community. You are a credit to our school and your families.
