State Gymnastics Competition

On Wednesday 30 August and Friday 1 September we had over a dozen gymnasts compete in the State Gymnastics competition. We had some amazing results from all the teams and individuals entered. Ebony Penny (McCormack) was entered into the highest division and came 2nd overall individually which was an amazing achievement, our boys team entered in the E level division came 5th as a team, the girls E team came 2nd overall as a team, the girls D team came 2nd overall as a team and the girls C team came 6th overall as a team. We also had many individuals placing across all of the divisions entered, special mention to Giselle Northcote (McCormack) who was entered into our girls E team and came 1st overall as an individual. All of the gymnasts had worked so hard at lunch times and after school sessions and we are extremely proud of all of their achievements and effort, It was amazing to see everyone encouraging each other and being so supportive of each other’s efforts. Overall it was an amazing two days, well done to all of our gymnasts.
