Year 10 End of Semester Examinations

Year 10 examinations commence on Wednesday 14 June and conclude on Tuesday 20 June 2017.

Students will undertake examinations in all subjects with the exception of Health and Physical Education, Religious Education and some VET courses. Please encourage your son/ daughter to begin their revision program early so they are well prepared for the examinations. The examination result will contribute to the overall subject unit result.

The purpose of Year 10 exams is to enable students to become familiar with exam conditions in preparation for senior years. By Year 10, students are encouraged to spend at least 1 – 2 hours each school night, plus time on weekends, doing home study. This includes working on: assessment tasks/ assignments, specific homework, completing class work, reviewing and revising content.
