ANZAC Day Service - Rosebud Campus

This year the Rosebud Campus SRC held the traditional Anzac Day ceremony in which we commemorate by coming together to show an appreciation of both the ANZAC story and the level of respect we need to show to all our servicemen and women who have fought and died in wars.

Our newly elected Year 7 leaders, Tamsyn-Rose, Jordy May and Georgia Vowles, each respectfully played significant parts with readings and reflections. Led and guided by many of our Year 10 Captains and Vice-Captains, Hayden Flynn, Edward Brownlee, Levi Cowling and Aaron Langley.

The students were particularly sensitive to the traditional service and when the official one minutes silence was held, there was complete quiet.

Services were attended across the Mornington Peninsula and the Rosebud Campus was represented proudly at both the Rosebud and Dromana dawn services, breakfasts and morning ceremonies. The students were all wonderful examples demonstrating commitment and respect our young people have for those who watch over us. A special thank you to Edward and Madelene Brownlee who laid the wreath at the Dromana service and to Hayden Flynn and Monique Machin at the Rosebud service.

SRC and students that joined us in the commemorate ANZAC Day service at Rosebud were Isabella Bisogni, Kyle White, Monique Machin, Hayden Flynn, Indi Grusauskas, Jazmine Palin, Ashlie McIntosh, Tamsyn Rose, Jordy May and Alec Boundy, with Mrs Petrina Tyler. At the commemorate march and service at Dromana Edward Brownlee, Aaron Langley, Madelene Brownlee, Levi Cowling, Harry Callaghan and Georgia Vowles attended with Mr Wayne Smith.
