World's Greatest Shave at Padua

Padua College Year 12 student Tash Albers will be taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation's “World's Greatest Shave.”

It is a courageous move for anyone to participate, especially when your hair is past your waist! Tash says that “in order to maximise your impact, sometimes you have to step outside your personal boundaries.” She certainly will, with Ms Gina Goss lined up on 30 March to cut off both of Tash’s plaits, and shave her hair down to a number 2. Tash then hopes to donate her hair to a wig manufacturer.

The objective of the World's Greatest Shave is to raise money to support the families of individuals diagnosed with blood cancer, as well as funds for further research.

“I'm personally aiming to raise $1000, and would really appreciate it if you could please support me in reaching this goal!” Please show your support of Tash by going to her fundraising page here:
