Board Chair, Parent Representative – Northern Region
A Mornington Peninsula resident for the last 8 years, Peter Leamon was asked to be a Parent representative on the College Board in 2015 and subsequently nominated to be the Deputy Chair. Peter and his family are actively involved in the St Thomas More Parish in Mt Eliza, and all his children have attended school at St Thomas More Primary. Peter currently has two daughters at Padua (Mornington Campus) and another daughter and son still to follow.
Peter has 20+ years business experience, particularly in sales, across a number of industries. Working with a diverse range of personalities and varying levels of management, business ownership and staff has given Peter the ability to communicate and empathise with the needs and desires and required outcomes.
Peter says that “as a parent of the College, to be a Board Member and to work closely with Anthony Banks, the College Board and the Leadership Team of the College, to ensure that Padua's Vision and Mission and welcoming environment is sustainable and relevant, is a great honour.”
